Moments Of Quiet Inspiration
It’s the holiday weekend here in Ontario. Yesterday, I packed up my laptop and loaded my iPod with marketing audios and headed North to our family lake home. We’re on dialup which means I don’t spend that much time connected to the Internet. We’re right on the Lake which means that I don’t spend that much time connected to my laptop.
And yet these disconnected weekends are my most prolific in terms of generating ideas. I typically fill half a notebook with new ideas for projects, websites, video tutorials, etc. It’s interesting to me that these moments of quiet are so inspiring. That’s why I always keep a notebook with me, even in my Disconnected Northern Lake Home, because I find I’m at my creative best when I’m relaxed.
Whatever you do this weekend, I hope you find a quiet spot to unwind… and find your own moments of quiet inspiration.
