Update on The Be The Next Best Selling Author Competition
If you follow my blog regularly, you’ll know that I entered Mark Joyner’s Be The Next Best-Selling author competition sponsored by the Simpleology Best-Seller Blueprint. To answer your burning question: I don’t know if I’ve won. I may have missed an e-mail or maybe they’re not done judging the entries - I don’t really know and have not taken steps to find out. A simple e-mail would solve my curiosity. I still hold the vision of receiving an email or a phone call with the fantastic news but I’ve let go of the expectation of so doing.
Don’t get me wrong, while I would have loved to be selected the winner and tried my best to make it happen based on views of my video (see The Top 7 Strategies That Taught My Elephant To Swim for details), if I’m not meant to win, I’m not meant to win.
I will still write my book. In fact, I’ve been working on finishing “How I Taught My Elephant To Swim” as well as finishing another book I’ve been writing tentatively titled “Inside Out: The Girl’s Guide To Feeling Fine!“ A wise man said on a call I heard recently, that inaction is not a course of action so I will continue with my plan to write both books.
Be sure to keep an eye out of the coming months for updates on both books. Thanks for all your support!
And if by chance you happened to miss my entry, you can see it here:

Hey Deb, we’re still judging! We had hundreds of entrants, so this one has taken some serious time

Hey Mark,
Thanks for the update. No worries
My post was more an exercise in commitment. Declaring my intention to write in this public space got me fired up. I wrote about 5000 that night.
