Product Review: Mark Joyner’s Learn to Blog for Profit & Fun Lesson 1

I started with Day 1 of Mark Joyner’s “Learn to Blog for Fun & Profit“.  The first lesson defines a blog and gives a brief overview of the various types of blogs.  If you’re new to blogging (ie - you’ve never ever blogged in your life) then the course starts you off at the right place.  I’ve been blogging for years so I’m a little beyond lesson 1 and am tempted to skip ahead to lesson 6 or 7 but I want you to have the experience of the course with me so I will continue with the course as it’s laid out.

The course itself is a wonderful multimedia experience.  If you’ve never taken any of Mark’s Simple*ology courses (and I highly recommend them - in fact, the first one is free - click here to sign up) then the learning style will be new to you.  As with the Simple*ology lessons, each blogging lesson is broken down into bite size pieces and presented in a non-intimidating format.  The videos are in a word - adorable.  The lessons are also laced with little blasts of comedy.  And the lesson review quizzes are extremely easy.  If you have a slower connection, the same lesson is available in print format and audio.  In fact, all of the lessons are available in audio format for you to download and pop into your iPod so you can learn on the go.

I’m off to do my daily praxis.  Back tomorrow with an update on lesson 2.
